Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation

Klowd subscriptions are billed monthly with no long-term contracts or commitments. You may cancel your subscription at any time.

How to cancel

You can cancel your subscription directly from your account settings within the Klowd platform. Alternatively, you can request cancellation by emailing chris@klowd.software. Cancellation requests sent via email will be processed within one (1) business day.

What happens when you cancel

  • Your subscription will remain active through the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged again.
  • You and your staff will retain full access to the platform until your billing period ends.
  • Your clients' booking page will remain accessible until your billing period ends.
  • After your billing period ends, your account will be deactivated and your booking page will go offline.

Refunds

Because Klowd is a digital service billed on a monthly cycle, we generally do not offer refunds for partially used billing periods. When you cancel, you retain access through the end of your current billing period — you are not charged for any period you do not use.

Exceptions

We will consider refund requests in the following circumstances:

  • Service outage: If the Service was unavailable for an extended period (more than 48 consecutive hours) due to an issue on our end, you may request a prorated credit for the affected period.
  • Duplicate charges: If you were charged more than once for the same billing period due to a billing error, the duplicate charge will be refunded in full.
  • First-month dissatisfaction: If you cancel within the first 14 days of a paid subscription (not including a free trial period), you may request a full refund of your first month's payment.

To request a refund, please contact chris@klowd.software with your account email and a description of the issue. Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and processed within five (5) business days.

Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your card issuer.

Free Trial

Klowd offers a 14-day free trial for new accounts. During the trial period, you have full access to all features. No credit card is required to start a trial.

At the end of the trial period, you will be prompted to subscribe. If you choose not to subscribe, your account will be paused and no charges will be made. Your data will be retained for 90 days in case you decide to subscribe later.

Your Data After Cancellation

Your data is important to us. After cancellation, we handle it as follows:

  • 90-day retention: Your data (client records, appointment history, staff information, and salon configuration) is retained for 90 days after your subscription ends. During this period, you can reactivate your account and resume where you left off.
  • Data export: You can request a full export of your data at any time — before, during, or after cancellation (within the 90-day retention window). Contact chris@klowd.software to request an export.
  • Permanent deletion: After 90 days, all your data is permanently and securely deleted from our systems. This action is irreversible.
  • Immediate deletion: If you prefer not to wait 90 days, you can request immediate deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Reactivation

If you cancel and wish to return within 90 days, you can reactivate your account by logging in and subscribing again. All your data — client records, appointment history, and configuration — will be exactly as you left it.

After 90 days, your data will have been permanently deleted and you would need to start with a fresh account.
